Tourist attractions in Madrid



Whether you are a soccer fan or not, visiting the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is a must when you are in Madrid. The stadium, home to the football club Real Madrid C.F, holds vast historical insight on the evolution of sports and marks memorable events and players. It´s located only a 10 minute walk (3 minutes by car) away from the Residence Euro building 2, Madrid. You can also take the L10 metro line, which takes approximately the same amount of time. 


Rather have a walk in the park? Madrid is home to one of the largest parks known as El Retiro Park. The public garden, which was previously the property of the royal monarchy, hosts monuments, lakes, and enclosed gardens where you can see all types of flowers and birds. Located within the park is the Crystal palace – yes, a palace made almost entirely of glass. 


The Spanish capital, Madrid, is full of other attractions such as the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and Puerta del Sol. Don´t forget to take a stroll down Gran Via, the busiest street in Madrid that has an abundance of shops, restaurants, and interesting sights.
